Well done to all the KWTA players at the tournaments this holidays. We have seen a strong fighting spirit and solid technique. Good signs of things to come.
I missed posting a win from last holidays so I’ll start there. Well done Jacinta for winning the u16 Girls at Newcastle. Completely blitzed the field in every match.
At the Sydney Junior we had Laura Wunderlich make the finals of the u14s girls and Aston Bloom and Sean Wang make the finals of the 12s Boys Doubles which is a pretty impressive effort considering they are 2 years younger than most of their opponents.
At NSTA Junior we had 3 of the four finalists in the u10s with Bhavi Chauhan beating Freddy Hou in the boys, and Ashlee Narker runner up in the girls by a single point.
The tournaments are still going so I’ll have more updates at the end of the holidays but it looks like we have some promising results coming our way. And with a very strong group of young juniors in the 10s and 12s it looks like we are going to be a force to be reckoned with in the future!
